INTEGRATED LEARNING:

Integrative Learning is a learning theory describing a 

movement toward integrated lessons helping students 

make connections across curricula. This higher 

education 

concept is distinct from the elementary and high school 

"integrated curriculum" movement.

E.v.s is an approach to the learning of environment in its

 totality without being burdened by any disciplinary

 considerations. It is an integrated area of study at 

primary 

level in schools based on the premise that the children,

instinctively, holistic view of the environment, and have

 varied background and experiences by the time they 

join  the school. E.V.S. Facilitate children to understand 

the linkages between human being and environment.

E.V.S. draws content from science, social science and 

environmental education. As a teacher of E.V.S, 

expected to understand multiple dimensions and 

perspective of E.V.S and how different disciplines or 

areas of study contribute towards its holistic 

understanding
